Shipping policy


General information about the online store: Online store products are sold and rented by Mevent Oy ID number 2837370-6. We sell and rent products to adults in Finland. Product prices include VAT. We reserve the right to change prices and postage.

Purchase: As a rule, products are purchased via the Internet at via the shopping cart. The receipt is delivered electronically after the purchase is confirmed. The customer commits to the delivery conditions in force with each order. The purchase requires that the customer has provided their contact information when placing the order, so that the shipment and receipt can be delivered to the customer. The required contact information is name, address, phone number and email address.


Paytrail is a safe payment method for you. They have a payment institution license granted by the Financial Supervisory Authority. The service is maintained by Checkout Finland Oy (business ID number 2196606-6) and Checkout Finland Oy is part of OP Financial Group.

The Checkout payment forwarding service forwards your payment to the merchant. If Checkout Finland Oy appears on your bank statement or credit card bill, we have forwarded your payment.

The online store acts as a marketer of products and services and as a supplier of products to the customer. The online store takes care of the legal obligations related to the sale as well as other obligations defined by itself. Bank charges

You can use the payment buttons of all Finnish banks. You can pay with the payment buttons of Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpanki, Osuuspanki, POP bank, Säästöpanki, S-banken and Ålandsbanken. Your account statement shows Checkout Finland Oy as the payee, we will forward your payment to the online retailer. From the online store, you will be directed directly to your own bank to make the payment securely.

Checkout Finland also offers the option to pay with a bank transfer form.

Credit card payments

You can pay in the online store with Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Debit MasterCard and American Express cards. The online store uses the international Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode and American Express SafeKey authentication services.

Paytrail appears as the payee on the card invoice and forwards the customer's payment card payment directly to the merchant. Payment by card is made using a securely protected payment form and the payment card information is not stored in the online store's systems.

Mobile payment methods

Mobile payment methods Pivo, MobilePay, Masterpass and Siirto are services that work in the application, with which you can pay for online purchases as a bank transfer from your account or as a card payment from your card by accepting the payment in that application. Pivo also accepts Siirto payments, which means that the payment can be accepted in any application that supports Siirto.

Invoice and installment services

Invoice and installment services through Checkout are offered by OP, Collector, Jousto. Collector also offers an invoice and installment payment option for business customers.

Please read the specific terms and conditions specific to the financing company, which you will see when you accept the payment. When you accept the payment, you also accept the finance company's terms and conditions.

Pay later

Try first, pay later. With Klarna, you receive your purchases first and only then decide whether you want to keep them or not.

Split payments

Collect all your payments on one invoice and choose how much you pay each month.

Delivery time: We mail the products purchased from the online store 1-4 business days after the payment is registered in our account. We do not deliver products cash on delivery. Deviating delivery times will be announced in Mevent Oy's online store. The delivery of rental products is separately mentioned in the rental terms.

Delivery method and delivery costs: Delivery costs are included in the price of the products sold in the online store, unless otherwise stated. Delivery costs include postage and packaging costs. We deliver orders by letter, postal package or registered mail.

Exchange and return conditions: The customer has a 14-day exchange and return right in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. The right of return only applies to unused and salable sales products in the original packaging. The right of return does not apply to rented products. The renter commits to separate rental conditions regarding the rental products.

Before returning, contact our customer service by email. Attach the following information to the email: your name, address and phone number, your bank account number and a copy of the receipt for the online store order from Mevent Oy

We do not accept returns more than 14 days after delivery. Once the return has been approved, the money will be returned according to the selected payment method within 14 days after receiving and processing the return. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

Problem situations during transport and with regard to defective products: If the product purchased from the online store has been lost during transport, damaged or the wrong product has been delivered to the customer, the customer must report the error immediately to Notification of incorrect delivery or defective product must be made within 14 days of receiving the product. We are not responsible for products lost by Posti or damaged in transit. If the shipment is lost or damaged in the post, a complaint about the product must be made to the Post immediately. Complaints about rental products are described in the rental terms.

Change: We reserve the right to change our delivery conditions. Before ordering, the customer must familiarize himself with the rental and delivery conditions valid at any given time.
